GADZTO FM FINALLY GOES LIVE AFTER YEAR-LONG SAGA INVOLVING GOATS, LEGAL TROUSERS, AND A STOLEN MICROWAVE
KERNOW — After twelve chaotic months of technical hiccups, obscure licensing laws, and one prolonged standoff with a feral goat named Bob, Gadzto FM is finally live — broadcasting “chaotic harmony and mild spiritual interference” direct from the Gadzontbury Festival HQ.
Founder GAdz Knatthews says the year-long delay was caused by a mix of “bureaucratic sabotage and emotional granola” citing:
- A misunderstanding with Ofcom over whether legally a kazoo counts as a ‘transmitting device’
- A Dutch sound engineer who vanished into a hedge mid-meeting
- And a production team who accidentally wired the studio through a 1996 Panasonic microwave, which then broadcast Ready Steady Cook reruns for three weeks
Now up and running on 108.8FM and Online, Gadzto FM promises 24/7 weird beats, pub banter, and surprise interviews with “anyone who wanders in, famous or not.”
Says Knatthews:
“Radio is back. The frequency is questionable. The vibes are not.”
